Our only location in Philadelphia. Four generations of the Fluehr family have been successfully serving the funeral needs of the public since 1898 when John F. Fluehr Sr began his business in Kensington. In 1930, joined by two of his sons, John Jr and Theodore the firm adopted its current name. The Mayfair location at 3301 Cottman Avenue, was built in 1937 by John Jr who was later joined by three of his sons. John F. Ill, Theodore R. and Richard. This beautiful funeral home with its spacious stateroom, handsome appointments and homelike atmosphere provides comfort and dignity for the bereaved
