Jim's place has become my happy-hour go to. Love going on Wednesday night for ladies night. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.

We swung by here looking to get something to eat and have a beer or two. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the beer was good and the bartender was friendly. I ordered the steak and it was OK but had quite a bit of fat on it. The menu consist of typical American food at it looked decent.

Ended up here on New Year's Eve courtesy of a local's tip. We were looking for a good craft beer place and this joint hit the spot with some good brews on...

The original "Jim" was my dad. He opened Jim's Place in 1966 when a glass a beer was either 10 cents or 25 cents. My mother and I cleaned the bar and counted the money each day while sitting in a booth in the back. Lots of fun, family times were held in that bar, including watching all the parades that came by each year. I am so happy that he is still a big part of Jim's Place to this day. ...
