Stopped in with some friends who knew the place. Casual and comfortable place with good food, good service. Portions were plentiful, received rather quickly, and price point was reasonable.

As a Pittsfield native, who moved away many years ago, I am very familiar with Jimmy's. I have attended numerous events there in the past. A recent visit showed that not much has changed.
The "atmosphere" is sparse. Some might call it "homey" or "unpretentious." I lean more toward "badly in need of updating."

Jimmy's is an experience in good old fashioned "blue collar" dining. It is Italian-American cuisine in a family friendly neighborhood type setting with a long time loyal and steady customer base. Different from what I remember used to be awesome, now its good but it used to be great.
Here you`ll find a restaurant that dishes up Italian cooking especially known for steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $8 to $12, and dress casual.
