Help us make it rightThis place makes some of the best tasting sushi and the prices are very reasonable. The only reason I could not give it a perect score was due to the length of time we had to wait for our food (close to 45 minutes). Aside from the wait, the service was great. Tip: the 9th Avenue is worth a try.
This is my go-to for sushi. Jimi provides excellent bar service, so be sure to ask for "omakase" (Japanese for "I'll leave it to you.") It jumps the bill up a bit but you get an experience, not just a meal.
Be sure to try the salmon roe as they prepare it in-house.

Moved to the Inner sunset 9 years ago and found the diamond in the rough..... A long time people kept saying that Ebisu was the best, which it is really good and is the hub of everything and just had their remodel... BUT.... now I went once with my husband and have been eating there for over 9 years now....
Jimisan - does not get enough credit or PR for his quality, portion size and overall selection, and good Sake menu. I would rank above most of the other Sushi establishments in the area, and me and my teenage boys have been lots of other establishments, but none are close. Also like the diversity of his custom roll selection. Great job Jimisan - you have are business...Thank You. Mike
