The Staten Island branch of Jim Hanley's Universe is a faithful spinoff of the original: equal weight is giving between new releases and a respectable stock of back issues, and, like the true aficionados that they are, they take great care to collect the full range of top-shelf merchandise.

My entire childhood of comics and other interests were all possible thanks to JHU! Since the Fantastic Store, then to the Eltingville location, and then the SI Mall, and then back to New Dorp, I have always been a big fan.

Love this place, my kids started reading comics so I started coming here. The staff is the best, super friendly and helpful always nice.

Jim Hanley's Universe is my favorite store on the planet Earth. I have been shopping there since 1990 and refuse to purchase my comics anywhere else!
