Don't use Barnes Custom Engines

Thanks to Barnes Custom Engines I got the shaft and had to pull motor after 3 months. The shims were wore thru under the valve springs into the head and all the metal went thru the motor and the build was contaminated during assembly so all the ring bearings are shot and main bearings have deep grooves and when we pulled the pistons out and ran the part # I found out it was only a 9 to 1 compression engine instead of the 10.5 to 1 engine I paid for. So when all was said and done went to see if they would cover their work and it turned into a screaming match and so I have to eat the cost of their c@!%!y work. I was told by them that is was my fault the shims wore thru because I ran an inner spring and RPM'D over 5500 when the CAM is a COMP 292H good to 6500 RPM'S. And with the Compression they told me I couldn't reach 10:1 cause of my combination of 119cc BBC head,but that was failed to be told to me when I paid them $1700 for their work.
