Powerful presentation by Holocaust survivors.
We had our own guide, docent Nancy Broudy, that walked and talked us through the entire exhibit! Her knowledge and passion for her Jewish heritage enhanced our visit immeasurably. Interesting to see all the famous Jewish people of Atlanta in addition to the holocaust horrors.
The section on history of Jews in Atlanta was informative, but it seemed to lack a good flow. The Holocaust section had many photos and artifacts, but it was difficult to follow the chronology. But the narratives were very informative. There's a small section explaining the role of Jewish teachers who came to the US from Germany and Easter Europe...
Breman Jewish Museum was interesting to appreciate the horror of the holocaust in 1940's. Many panel boards with pictures, lots of reading. Found the discourse on persecution of the Jewish race through all history unnecessary. The pieces of real history such as work permits, letters, clothing etc far more interesting than panel boards and wanted more of these. Good learning...
