I was long overdue for a haircut, so I booked an appointment at Jean Pierre on a whim, having never been before. Given that the salon is in New York, I was worried that I was going to get attitude from the hair stylist about waiting so long in between haircuts, but my stylist was friendly and professional and the whole overall vibe of salon was upscale but unpretentious.
I really lucked out. When I first moved to NY, I had no idea where I could go to get a great cut and color but as luck would have it, I discovered the best hair stylists at Jean Pierre

I had never been to Jean Pierre hair salon before. First off, the environment is fantastic. My hair stylist was awesome. I was getting my roots done, as well as color all over. The attention to detail on my hair was wonderful. I was so excited to see a beautiful salon open literally downstairs from me. The first time I walked in to make an appointment the staff was welcoming and friendly. I'm very particular about my hair. I always want it curly and smooth. My hair grows very fast and I used to trim it every month. I went to this place and got a haircut this time, not just a trim. I told the hair stylist what style I wanted and I'm really glad she got it, she is such a stylist! Hair volume, viola! I always want it like this.

This salon does what a lot of salons in New York do, only they do it way better. Jean Pierre salon has assembled an incredibly talented group of individuals that all treat you like you are their most important client. The level of service is astonishing. You'll wish that you had found this place sooner.
Great salon....elegant, unpretentious and with amazing service. They greet everyone and make sure you feel welcome. The hair dresser that did my color was so meticulous in ensuring it was perfect. He took his time, great attention to detail and explained everything he did. I walked out of there looking fabulous.
I love this place! My hair dresser is AWESOME!! She listens to me and gives me exactly what I want. I have long, thick hair that can be quite a challenge for some stylists, but She is a patient perfectionist and I've never left Jean Pierre hair salon feeling anything less than FABULOUS!
