The outdoor seating was wonderful, and the atmosphere inside of the bar area with the games and pool table seemed fun. However, the food was mediocre. It was definitely acceptable, but not fabulous. My husband and I were on a quiet, R&R vaca. We chose a resort in Vermont that's quite beautiful and I'm sure outrageously crowded during the ski season, as Killington is advertized as having the largest number of ski lifts and trails east of the Mississippi.

When we came here for dinner, we totally expected it to be some so so bar food. We were, thankfully, very wrong. I had an excellent philly cheesesteak on the porch. it was really nice. Can't wait to come back!

Jax has a crazy, 80's decor, but the beer selection is good and they have (at least through this year) the NFL package (with several televisions) so if you get there early enough, you'll be able to watch your favorite team even if it's not the on the local channels. Aside from Sundays during football season - They do good...
