But diners don't flock here for the scenery or even Portland's best Mexican food. They come for cheap, filling grub 24 hours a day. Fat SoCal-style burritos and a salsa bar with hot carrots and radishes please those searching for a note of authenticity, while others may be overwhelmed by the sprawling yellow menu: a bible of taco shop standards with occasional treats like rolled tacos in 3s or 5s, carne asada French fries and a nopalitos burrito.
The horchata is fresh and good for that hangover you'll probably have in the morning.
