I don't usually write reviews but our group had such a fantastic evening at Jane's that I felt like I needed to add to the chorus of praise. It was our first time dining here and I was pretty embarrassed that our party of 7 had gone down to a party of 4 due to last minute cancellations but our hostess didn't even blink at the inconvenience of adjusting tables - she was cheerful and exclaimed...

Jane's did not in fact honor our reservation. It was for 9:30PM. As of 9:50, we weren't seated, even though Jane's had an entire 2nd dining room open, where people were being served. I had been there many times before, and never treated so poorly.

Opened in 1994, Jane's is a quaint Bucktown eatery, specializing in fresh, clean foods, with several vegetarian options. We are open Tuesday-Sunday evenings, with a great Friday lunch. We serve a wonderful brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-2:30p.m. We have a beautiful party room, and specialize in celebrations!
