We were in Wallace the 8-9 of October this year and looked forward to a steak dinner at the Jameson. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was closed. We asked around and were told it had "closed for the season." I would like to know when the season is so that I can avoid that in the future. Is the Jameson closed all winter? When does it reopen?

I am the owner of the Jameson Inn and i would like to respond the the last review, The groupon ( Limit one per customer) Was over May 31st, This Lady booked on May 28th and never showed and tried to use it again, we told her it was our peak season now ( not that we didn't want her business) She wanted to put three in a room our limit is two, she didn't want to pay for a second room, not that...

After realizing the TWO coupons I had purchased thru Groupon were a few days past their expiration i called to see if they would still honor them. I explained I would be purchasing a third room at full price. They said no they had plenty of business without mine....totally rude....too bad...the five of us had planned on having their steak dinners with drinks as well as buying the third room at...

Historic hotel with modernly comfortable beds

This was out third stay and the new owners have done a wonderful job of renewing without replacing. A turn of the century hotel that has kept the ambiance of a time long gone. Our room request had been changed and the host treated us to a dramatic flaming dessert as an apology (not needed) and an anniversary treat. No sign of Maggie, the resident ghost, but we will try again. Surprisingly quiet...
