We've been to Ha-Ra Sushi a number of times because we like Japanese food very much and it's the closets (5min) choice. And, there's no really good place inside of 1/2 hour (although the new place RJ's Asian Fusion, across Danville Blvd. from Ha-Ru) shows signs of being really excellent with a broader perspective. Wonderful fresh sushi! Friendly fun staff. Try the sweet potato roll and a sake bomb but make sure you have a designated driver.

This clean, classy Sushi restaurant changed its name last year to Ha La Sushi since a restaurant with the same name existed on the East Coast. Same staff and same talkative, personable sushi chefs!
Try their many hand rolls and added deep fried crunch toppings. They also have several deep fried hand rolls that are a crunch lovers delight!

Tasty stop for Tempura dishes

We stopped here on a whim when another restaurant we had chosen was closed for the day. The wait staff is friendly but struggle with English when explaining the dishes. Our group of four tried two chicken dishes, the chicken teriyaki and the chicken Katsu. Both were tasty and served very hot. The salmon teriyaki was moist and lightly flavored....
