In ShortKnown for its popular mail-order catalogues, this women's apparel line is part sophisticated, part bohemian, with pretty, feminine accents and detailing. Breezy fashions in natural fibers include knit tops, skirts, sweaters, comfortable pants, denim and loungewear. Textures are soft; hues are primarily earth tones accented with romantic embroidery, buttons and rich patterns. Shoes are available at some locations, and through the catalogue and website.

This Bellevue Square location of the women's clothing chain is the only one of its 15 Pacific Northwest locations designated as "premier." For the shopper, this means a bigger space and a bigger selection. It opened in the mall in 2003. Staffrtd are friendly and the store occasionally offers discounts when you bring in gently worn J. Jill items for donations.
