the food is great it open 24/7 wounderful food it has warm coxzy feeling to it. best breakfast ever its ur grandma's kicthen all over again hot soul food rite off the stove hash browns are excellent u cant get food like this no more

Great food, cool staff, and the prices are reasonable. I don't know why more people on the southside don't know about Izola's, I think it's much better than many of the other, more famous soul food places south of 63rd and east of the Ryan.

Okay, I'll say it: it is a southside institution!

This is the unsung night spot of the south side. If you like to party on friday and saturday nights the party is not over til you are full from that good home cookin that izola has to offer. Every thing she serves is good catfish, prok chops , everything.
