Closer than Opie's and has good brisket

The five of us headed up to Spicewood for a pig out at Opie's on a Thursday afternoon not knowing (as we should have) that they close at 1600 that day. We were so disappointed but heading back home we stopped here. Wife and I are staunch Opie's fans and did not expect that this joint would challenge that opinion....

Wonderful, delicious, definitely sets a high mark to judge other BBQ joints!
Opie's was closed, so we stopped here and were not disappointed. The brisket was amazing, lean, and worth every penny!
The sides were average, the stuffed jalapeños were made hours before they were served so they were a bit stale.
