Service was shoddy at best. The waitress seemed generally disinterested in us or our food selections. The food was tasty, We tried the veal sweetbreads, pork cheeks, and the lemongrass chicken soup which were all very well seasoned and prepared appropriately. We had to submit a credit card to hold our reservation here, so we thought the food would be excellent given the competition in NOLA. Not so much. It was average at best. Skip and go to August instead.

Warm welcome with prompt service. My sweetbreads appetizer (everybody doesn't love these, can't understand why) was fantastic, my wife's arugula salad was very good. The bartender was outstanding, interesting and interested. We got into some passionate craft cocktail discussions, and he made me a complementary cocktail that was a subject of part of that (I am a home craftsman).

We decided to give this place a try as it was walking distance from where we were staying and not in the middle of the French Quarter 'craziness'. The food was very good and the service matched.
