Help us make it rightNestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Inn at Little Washington is a double Five Star, double Five Diamond Award winning hotel and restaurant.
This oasis, tuck away in the beautiful Virginia countryside offers world-class amenities and award-winning cuisine.
Chef Patrick O’Connell, who created the Inn at Little Washington along with his partner, Reinhardt Lynch, prepares truly spectacular contemporary American fare at this posh, romantic restaurant. Tiny, tasty nibbles will begin arriving at your table right about the time you get settled in your chair, and the impeccable service provided by the wait staff here means hors d’oeuvres – including such...
What began as a small-town eatery in 1978 has grown into a legend. The rich interior of the three-story white-frame inn is the work of Joyce Conway-Evans, who has designed theatrical sets and rooms in English royal houses. Plush canopy beds, marble bathrooms, and fresh flowers make the rooms sumptuous. If you need more space, the Inn also has two luxurious cottages: the 3,200-square-foot...
"Simply the best", Patrick O'Connell's hunt-country New American "citadel" earns the No. 1 ratings for Food, Decor and Service in the Greater DC area for what amounts to a "life-altering experience" as guests get "pampered" in an "intimate", richly embroidered setting, where "revelatory" multicourse repasts are "prepared with extraordinary skill" and seasoned with a "touch of whimsy"; in short,...
WaPo has a charming and ridiculous video interview with Cameron Smith, the Inn at Little Washington's cheese specialist. Smith introduces the world (or at least, the world that normally can't afford to dine at the Inn) to Faira, the restaurant's mooing, cheese-bearing cow. Consider yourself warned: a high tolerance for puns is required to fully enjoy this video.
