I was greeted warmly at the door from a very knowledgeable tea aficionado. I was surprised by the number of teas on the menu, but somewhat bombarded with them all after I sat down from the hostess. Menu for food is small, sandwiches and soups and a daily quiche round out the menu.

I don't know why this place gets such glowing reviews. We went because we had a gift certificate from a family member. We happend to be in Antioch over the weekend and saw this cute little tea shop, not even realizing it was an actual high-tea room. We were due to attend a birthday party nearby but had some time to kill so we stopped in for tea. The atmosphere is just lovely - I couldn't help but pull little tea books...

Delicious! Went there my very first time today. Try their house chai tea very good. You can even choose how many spices you want in it. The lady's that work...
