Indiana Spray Foam

Beware!

My husband and I hired Indiana Spray Foam to perform work on our home. Prior to actually hiring them, I specifically asked about their experience with applying spray foam to a home with cedar siding. I was concerned about how it would look when the job was completed. I'd been reassured that the siding would look fine, and having cedar siding wasn't going to affect the way they do the work. Unfortunately, it did affect the finished look of my home. The siding is damaged on every side of my home, two complete rows on each side of the house. You can clearly see each piece the employees cut and removed. You can even see where they miscalculated and cut pieces which shouldn't have been cut or removed. Each piece was nailed back up, and finished with caulking the cracks on all 4 sides, as well as caulking over each nail. Some of the cut pieces cracked off and were left that way. There are at least 5 nails and staples in each, and many of the pieces were nailed in further than they should have been, creating an uneven surface. It looks absolutely horrible! I took two emails to the company to get any response. I finally received a response after notifying them of my intentions to report them with BBB and file a civil suit. I have given them a chance to settle the matter professionally, by repairing the damage, or refunding the amount we paid so we can replace the damaged siding. Mike, the owner, refuses to accept responsibility for the damage his workers caused. He sent an employee to my home - unannounced, and uninvited - to convince me not to pursue my complaint. I found that completely unprofessional and unacceptable!
