Idaho Springs presently prospers from the hot springs at Indian Hot Springs Resort. Around the springs, known to the Ute natives as the "healing waters of the Great Spirit," are geothermal caves that were used by tribes as a neutral meeting site. The hot springs, a translucent dome–covered mineral–water swimming pool, mud baths, and geothermal caves are the primary draws for the resort. You...

This is a Warning for all people Indian hot springs is a dangerous dump with violent aggressive staff . I spent around 1000$ in plane fares from Los Angeles and car rental , booked myself what I was under the impression from the website " an authentic getaway to a retreat " at Indian Hot springs. There is nothing Indian about this place . It is run by hillbillies and thugs . I dipped in the...

My husband and I had a two night stay in cabin #4 this past weekend celebrating his birthday. I also arranged for a couples massage and paid for that ahead of time as well. This was his first time going up there and I wanted to make it a special experience. He mainly wanted to experience the outdoor hot tubs so I made sure to schedule an evening outdoor soak a week ahead of time (paying the "extra charge"). We arrived at our scheduled time only to be greeted by a man working the front desk who immediately stated "he had no hot tubs available for the remainder of the night". I told him we...

Please, don't waste your money!! It saddens me as a long-time and devoted patron to write this, but Indian Hot Springs has become disgustingly despicable over the years and its time people know the truth and avoid this toxic environment. These people are not there to make your experience a good one, they are about the money and sticking together as an unhealthy pack of heartless individuals. I don't say this lightly, I've been going here since I was 4 years old and it is supposed to be a place of peace, happiness and healing. I have fibromyalgia and use hot springs as a regular therapy,...

My husband and I have visited this hotspring quite a few time and enjoyed it greatly. We had a beach ball volleyball contest New Years eve of 2013 and the the pool was busy...and fun.. We returned this year for New Years eve. and was very disappointed. Upon returning to our room from dinner. Two foreign guys (Korean?) knocked on...

The winter package at Indian Springs was fantastic - room, cave pools access (his and hers separate areas), pool access and $25 dining package for about $110. It's only 40 miles from Denver International airport and an easy highway drive. This historic hotel has not only the old rooms in the main hotel that date back to the 1800's (Old...
