DO NOT LIVE HERE. unless you want to be treated rudely and overcharged. They pulled our apartment out from underneath us while we were applying, we wanted a certain one that was available had to leave to get a different payment method for the application because they do not accept american express, and then 20 minutes later we came back and they had sold it. The manager would not speak to us or apologize.

They had shown us an apartment when we went, that we like. After we had singed and it was time to move in, they gave us an apartment all the away at the deadend, totally different than what they had shown us. Maintenance had to come out like 5 times in my 6 months stay. Managment is so rude, I had to call corporate to have my issues resolved. Also, out of my $300 deposit, they are charging me for a broken blind, and a stain on the carpet that was their in the beginning. They waited till we left to let us know, even though they were out there for an inspection prior to moving. The washer and...

I lived at Independence Green for a year and here is my review..

1. PEOPLE: The people at the leasing center are among the worst people in the business. They are rude, unprofessional, and are bunch of liers. They disrespect tenants and threaten lease holders just because they trapped us in signing the lease. They do not disclose anything up front such as $ 50/month for heating bills, that too for whole 12 months. They also require 60 days advance notice in order to terminate the lease that you sign for 1 year..

2. PRICE Price you pay for living in this apartment is NOT worth it. ...
