Located in the mall with the Orso Restaurant and Glacier Brewhouse, mostly in the basement, this small museum is a favorite of Anchorage children under age 10, with room to play and interesting things to look at. Since 1984, The Imaginarium has been providing Museum from Anchorage.

This hands-on science discovery center is the only one in Alaska. Located in downtown Anchorage. There is a planetarium, a marine touch tank, physics toys, and other learning exhibits and demonstrations.

The Imaginarium is a hands-on science discovery centre for children and families. Highlights include marine tanks, reptile exhibits, a planetarium and the Bubble Lab.

The Imaginarium's 5th Avenue location closed in 2009. Now, you can find the new, bigger and better Imaginarium Discovery Center within the Anchorage Museum.
