I have been going to J and P for years...The food has always been great, the servers are polite and the prices are reasonable. Our women's group meets in the back room and we love the privacy.
One of the better places to eat in Hampstead. ..or any of their other locations.

Overall the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. However, if you get stuck in the back room...its more like a cafeteria. The food was very good and the prices were appropriate.

This restaurant offers excellent Italian food in a very comfortable family enviornment. Large portions and good prices. The best pizza around, including gluten free pizza and pastas as well. Something foe everybody and all so good!

What would make this review a straight 5 out of 5 would be a time when my wife and I go there and the service is good. I'm not even asking for GREAT service, I'm just asking for friendly. My wife...

Been ordering the Sausage, Onions and Peppers (over Fettuccini) for 10 years now and the dish has tasted EXACTLY the same every time (except for once, when the sauce tasted "burnt"). My wife is equally stuck on the Gnocchi. We "like" their pizza but we don't crave it. The service has always been very good...and they serve Birch Beer !...
