Known for its fantastic sandwiches, Ike's once again lived up to my expectations. The sandwiches were delicious with yummy dressings and lots of fresh, tasty ingredients. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the differences between vegan and vegetarian diets. I ordered a Paul Ruben I think (it was supposed to be an approximation of a Reuben sandwich). all the online reviews said how huge their sandwiches were and how scrumptious, blah blah blah. WELL. it was really not a big sandwich. the bread was really mediocre... there was not a heck of a lot of meat on it AND it was topped off with a slimy purple cabbage slaw.
