I just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone how amazing hy-vee really is. Not only do we shop there weekly and get everything we could ever want and more in one spot, and save with our fuel saver card, but I love all of their additional services they provide at reasonable prices. So jealous of all of you folks that have a Hy Vee in your town. They have everything and now they are starting to put bars in their stores! Aside from groceries (and the bar) Hy Vee's are great...

Their bakery is a little iffy. On one occasion, I accidentally chewed a piece of a plastic piping bag on top of one of their fresh baked donuts. The bakery manager seemed unaffected by my phone call and was pretty rude to me about it like it was MY fault. He offered a replacement but, i was already home for the day. The early morning staff is great~! I get off work, stop to get groceries on the way home and see the same smiles each time. They always make me feel welcome and are so friendly~!
