My family and I live outside of the city limits and we are very limited on what internet providers we can use, one of which is Hughes Net. We started out with Hughes Net over 2 years ago, which at the time was not Gen 4. Hughesnet oversold their satellite capacity in the Pacific Northwest, but promised me great service.  When the internet, and along with it, my telephone, were down more than they were up, I was constantly on my cell phone trying to get my service back.  When I finally called and asked them to cancel my "service", I was put on hold for so long, I finally hung up.  It took 4 tries over a period...

LOL Thanks "Rusty Nails" for your remark. I feel this person must has some "dealings" with Hughes Net. Their fingers must be sore from remarking on all the negative remarks on Hughes Net on this site. I don't intend to put one more dollar into anything to do with Hughes Net. Oh, it will get down and sent back and whatever it does cost I intend to get back off the dish and the rest of the "crap"...
