I never used a tax preparation service before, but was pleasantly surprised by H&R Block. They found lots of extra deductions for me that really made going to them worthwhile. You can even get an advance on your return if you need it. I didn't use that service because there was an extra fee associated with it. Overall though, I was pleased with the service and I will use them again next year.
