There's a laundry list of reasons to avoid these guys. My lab had a hard drive that begun to fail, so I priced out data recovery services nationally and locally. These guys were cheaper than many national services, but in the long run I really got what I paid for. Initially, I selected HCS from the positive reviews (which turned out to be fake) they had here. I took the drive to them on Monday, May 10 and described the problem. They agreed with our in-house IT team's assessment that the drive was in OK shape and estimated that I would have the data back by the end of the week. It is now...
