House of Bowls

This place should be renamed to House of Awesome Chinese Food. House of Bowls runs the gamut of Cantonese styled cuisine. Whether you choose to stay safe with some chow fun or go a little more traditional with Eggplant with Meat Sauce, anything off the menu is a sure shot. The no-frills place is clean, efficient, courteous, and authentic.

I can't even begin to say how great this place was. The food was fast and delicious. It's a pretty big restaurant, so the seating was ample. The only complaint I had was the chicken chow mien wasn't for me. It was bland, but luckily we ordered enough food to feed a small army. I highly recommend the beef chow fun.

There chicken wings with scallions is delicious! Service is so quick here. Great place to eat and it's cheap. My husband got the curry with beef tips rice plate. His portion is huge. It was enough to feed 2 people. I had gotten the steam chicken thigh rice plate. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. We always made Hainan Chicken and rice. Yum! Great place to eat even if your on a budget.

How fast the food comes out is unreal. I love the egg and beef over rice. The way the egg is cooked comes off runny so I don't even have to chew my food to swallow. The spaghetti is a must try.
