Hot Dog Johnny's

Have eaten dogs here once in a while since the early '90s, but it has been in its current form since the late 60s/early 70s. Always consistent, always tasty. The frosted mugs are fun, and nicely chill the beverages. Birch beer is excellent, as is the buttermilk and cider (seasonal). We're not really dry eaters, but they are tasty and have a nice crispness. The hot dogs are tasty, and the pickle...

If you find the hot dogs here are different from what you grew up with then you can order the Root Beer and Fries which are awesome! If you’re so bold try the Buttermilk. I never have, but plan to next time we’re passing by.

only have hot dogs and fries and the hotdogs only come with onions
pickle mustard , no kraut. or chili but it's a fun place to stop
when out for a sunday bike trip or drive . been going there my whole
life . its very popular so they must be doing some thing rite .

When we first stopped at this place, we were taken back by the huge
parking lot and how full it was.

We could not believe our eyes when we saw the menu.

1. Hot Dog

2. Fries

3. Birch Beer

4. Buttermilk

5. THAT'S ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is basically the entire menu, unless you count your choices
of ketchup, mustard, and pickles!!!!

Hot Dog Johnnies was awful the service was horrible and the hot
dogs taste like paste. The boss didnt have anything together
and nothing was filled in the supplies. Outside eating area was
a mess and was disgusting. There was trash all over the place and
the parking lot was covered with trash.
