Inspired by a traditional Italian Hostaria, where freshly prepared italian food is showcased in a casual setting, the design of HOSTARIA del Piccolo by Gregory H Ginter Architect, Bobo and Vittorio, combines a relaxed environment with a sophisticated urban design. The restaurant unites the simplicity of raw steel, glass and concrete with the warmth of reclaimed wood and natural light. With...

"Creative" Italian cuisine is yours at this Santa Monica spot known for its "divine" pizzas and other "fab" eats that "meet every dietary restriction" (vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free); with a "personable" staff and moderate bills, it makes for a "perfect night out" "without being too much of a scene."

Nice atmosphere with very pleasant outdoor seating area in the back. We brought our own champagne ($20 corkage fee) and they couldn't have been more accommodating with icing it and serving it. The food was very good (LA Week menu a good deal) and the service was attentive, friendly yet unobtrusive. The setting is very casual, and the clientele ranged from local residents, after-work groups and...

Obicà Mozzarella Bar is a casual Italian restaurant concept based on best Mozzarellas di Bufala Campana, together with traditional Italian recipes and high-quality Italian handmade products, prepared “in sight” and served by drawing inspiration from traditional sushi bars.

Obicà - a chic contemporary Italian casual dining restaurant where mozzarella is the star of a sumptuous line-up of slow food specialties.
The beautifully presented dishes may come from artisan producers adhering to age old traditions, but the Obicà restaurant environment is uncompromisingly contemporary, sleek and modern, with natural woods, clean lines and strong architectural features.
