I've taken lessons at many barns around San Diego growing up and Horsemanship Academy at Sunset horse ranch is my favorite place to ride. The instructors are fun and very personable and the horses are all very well behaved while teaching me how to improve my riding, even as an adult. In group lessons the one on one attention to students is great. The trail rides are great too!

I love the horses at Horsemanship Academy. They are good on trail, can jump, and run barrels. I like to ride English style, not Western and that has never been a problem. The horses are good at both. The instructors are super specific and really got me to advance my skills quickly. I enjoy everyone else's company too. It's been a great place to spend my time and get better at riding!

When I called to ask for riding details I ended up talking to the gal about everything from instruction to the types of events they throw. She really knew her stuff and was a true horse lover. We exchanged past riding stories and I learned a lot about the different horses she had at the riding school. Right away I could tell this was the school for me.

All of the other places I called were short and snippy. Forget them. Horsemanship Academy is professional, thorough, and friendly ~ so I am on my way!
