Information about this business (4)

Being on the forefront of the Craft Beer movement we truly believe there is no better place to purvey artfully crafted brews..., that are off beat and shunning the status quo, than in the neighborhood that is the home to counterculture. This concept, with the pairing of some great traditional American cuisines and a large selection of tequilas and Belgian Style beers, is what we are and love...

Hop Devil Grill has been and will continue to be on the forefront of the Craft Beer movement while also purveying scrumptious Southwestern pub food!

"A stone's throw (literally...i've done it) from Thompson Square Park is (one) of the finest beer establishments in the city. The Hop Devil delivers! Named after the mysterious creature to spawn from hop stalks this place has an unbelievable selection that constantly rotates, a menu to match (most notably the Belgium fries next door...that wasabi sauce does the trick like Houdini!), and...

Editorial reviews from the web (3)

Once dead and buried, this comprehensive East Village beer bar makes a triumphant return in its original locale. Like a zombie felled by a shotgun blast, the Belgian Room seemed down for the count. But the good-beer emporium staged an… Read More

“Foreign” purveyors and “smaller U.S. breweries” make up the “outstanding” beer list of this St. Marks Place suds specialist, and there’s “great service if you have trouble picking one out” to boot; but some call it a “great backup place” rather than a destination, citing “standard” chow and a “downhill” vibe.

Low-key East Village pub with a lengthy international beer and liquor list.

The Scene
This yellow-stucco, Southwestern-style pub stays far away from devilish revelry or a hopping, crowded scene, despite touting almost 100 beers. The mostly 30-something set...

Disappointing

Friendly and helpful staff at least made an effort to compensate for problems my group of six experienced with our dinner. Fully 50% of us had problems ranging from meals which were undercooked to those which were made significantly differently from menu

The low down on this place

After being around there and in the area. Tasting the food and drinking the beer there. I would never go back. the food is just alright. People say the have a great beer selection. I think they live in a shoe, but if your in the area check out the asian p

first off: great concept. Eclectically prepared Tex Mex style food paired with a greatt bar atmosphere. The cuban sliders are substantial. The steak tacos are sublime. When you get nachos here the sauce is con queso so you don't get an unshareable clu

I don't know how this last guy flamed this place like that. Live in a shoe? The have 30 draft beers, and not one of them is Bud Miller or Coors, or even Samuel Adams. Last night when I went the had Boulder Oatmeal Stout from Colorado which is awesome. T

Happy new discovery

This has got to be the best happy hour in town. When I went in, they were having some Tuesday taco deal for $1 each. I figured these were going to just be little tacos, but they are the best tacos I have every tried, and I have tried a lot of tacos! O
