I personally hate this place. But reviews are about backing up your opinion! There are a lot of bars in Denton, and several others on the square to choose from at any time. Other bars have friendlier bar tenders and waitstaff, more prompt service on average, and cheaper food (of good quality). In recent years, the staff also really likes to cut you off. You might think Hooligans is run well, but its run by a bunch of money hungry piece of you know what losers that think they can get whatever they want. They think they know everything when they don't even know how to run a successful bar! DONT GO THERE!

Had a awesome time playing buzztime trivia last night at hooligans. Their T.V. layout was awesome for the march madness and several tv's with poker and trivia. Staff was friendly and service was good. Loved the atmosphere, it was nice not dealing with any drama or idot's like on Fry St. Haven't eaten there yet but the chicken fried steak looked good. Hooligans is probably the best bar I have ever patronized. The drink specials are excellent and the food is great. There have been times that I was there all night and only spent 25 bucks. I love going to new places and trying out different bar scenes. A good bar is getting harder and harder to find nowadays, Hooligans was definitely one of the highlights of the 2 years I spent living in...
