Honey Pig Restaurant Review

Honey Pig specializes in pork belly cooked tabletop Korean-style. Go with at least one companion, as you won't be able to cook at the table if you go solo; instead, your food will be prepared in the kitchen. First, decide what to order; we suggest the specialty, but beef, including beef intestines for the adventurous, and seafood are options. A cold tofu-studded kimchi soup arrives to start the...

“If you like pork”, belly on up to this “real Korean” BBQ practitioner in Duluth that’s pretty “fancy” for the genre, where the “delicious” platters of protein are prepared “in front of you” by an “ultra-efficient” crew; granted, it’s a bit more “expensive” than the norm, but the high-ceilinged, “industrial” setting is “unusual” and it’s an “interesting place to take a date.”

Amazing food! Tried things I never thought I would. Service was amazing. Loved grilling at your own table!

I've seen the cast iron lid-style Korean cooking before but haven't done more than sample a couple of things - this is the first time I've sat down and really immersed myself in this particular type of cooking. I've eaten more than my fair share of Korean (I'm half so I grew up eating my mother's and her many friend's cooking so you can say I'm "experienced") but most of that involved the more...

If you're looking for a lip-smacking, glorious feeding frenzy, Honey Pig is the place to eat! Signature dishes, of course, are the pork belly plates, but there are many meaty dishes to choose from. You'll start your meal with delicious kimchi, chili-laced salad, bean sprouts and slices of rice cake, then the entree and fried rice at the end. There is no leaving hungry. The portions are...

Korean barbecue with modern decor and breezy service is perfect for a fun date. Main courses come with free snacks (radish slices marinated with wasabi, kimchi soup) condiments and lettuce and rice wrappers. The waiters do most of the cooking, including a final course of sizzling rice and bits and morsels left on the grill. Beef and seafood are available, but the pig trumps all.
