Let me start off by saying I NEVER go to mechanics. I do it myself. But this time I found myself with an issue that I couldn't fix at the time. I searched and found this place. There was a bad review but I decided to call anyway. The guy on the phone was pleasant. That good feeling made me 30min to get to the shop. The guy at the desk treated me like family. The mechanics looked like they would be rough, but they we equally as pleasant. Barely any waiting time and they jacked my car up free of charge. Found the issue, walked me out to my car to show me and fixed in less than 5 min and less than 40 bucks. No what I expected, but exactly what I needed. Thanks guys. I wish you tons of luck. All business should be like this.
I was there the day this hot headed, unreasonable guy freaked out. The staff there is well educated and clearly explained what and why a repair was needed. The are reasonable and always go above and beyond the call of duty to satisfy you. definatly the place to bring you car.
Was quoted a price of $1000 for a catalytic converter that could only be found from Hyundai. During the conversation, Mark from Honest-1 told me he looked all over for a cheaper price on an aftermarket converter but none was available, so I took him at his word.After paying the $1400 bill, (total with parts and labor) I was shown the part they replaced and given a receipt with the part number on it. I took the bill home and looked up the part online. I found the same part in 3 separate places for less than $250 dollars. One part store had it for $202!!According to Honest-1, the part could only be found at Hyundai for $1000 ($998 to be exact). I was still trying to convince myself that I couldn't have been ripped of this badly, after all, I read all the great reviews on this site. So I decided to check the price with a local Hyundai dealer to see how much the part cost and they told me $561....yeah this was a lot more expensive than the parts I found online, but still almost $450 less than Honest-1 charged me!!This is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a review, I hope this saves someone else from being shafted.
