As with most buffet-style restaurants, this one is more about quantity than quality. That said, the quality is actually surprisingly good at this location. The place is kept clean, the dishes are topped up frequently, and they actually pay attention to the ""This table is in use"" cards they hand out, and don't pressure you to leave immediately once your first plate is eaten. Yes, there are crowds, especially those from the ""walking dead"" retirement village across Rose (so walk carefully in the parking lot), but the food and staff rise to the occasion. Be ready for big crowds during the mealtime hours and many families use this as a great place to eat for not a lot of money. They have coupons available periodically.

The food reminds me of cafeteria food in school. If you have to
choose between McDonalds or Hometown Buffet you cant go wrong
with the Buffet.

I enjoy buffets (even though my waist line suffers). The problem
with most of them is the food all tastes the same. Not so here. They
do a great job. The food is not in the production line manner where
you wait for the erson in front of you to make their selections,
rather all the food is on small islands which are accessable from
either side. They have the roast beef, turkey and ham which...
