Sad to report that Homeplate is no longer in business... it was THE BEST food in town when it was located in SPRINGVALE & we miss it terribly! Although I did not know them personally, the owners were???

I have eaten at Home Plate for years and it is delicious every time. The owners are warm and friendly. All the employees are helpful and happy that we are there. The food is always hot, the meals wonderful. It is a good place to stop to meet with friends. The only problem was that it was crowded 'all the time'. However, they are moving. I've seen their sign and they are NOW more...

My family loved this restaurant. It is very much like a diner. We had breakfast foods; the eggs Benedict were exceptional and my son loved his cheeseburger.

I highly recommend it.

We really enjoy this place! Nice option to pick your side dishes with breakfast from a list of several delicious choices. The fruit salad is always very fresh with a great variety. My husband, who prides himself on making the best baked beans ever, loves the baked beans here! Priced very fairly, and friendly staff.
