Holmes and Watson was a favorite of mine many years ago when I lived in Troy. It kind of went done hill the past few years, and ultimately closed this spring. over the years, this place has managed to maintain it's ability to provide a good beer selection while providing good pub food. plenty of tables makes it a good place to stop with some friends for a causal lunch or dinner, or just a couple of beers and something to nosh on.

I visited Holmes & Watson's on a Saturday evening with four of my friends. We were amazed with the selection of beer! It was amazing. Two of us ordered appetizers, the french onion soup and the crab cakes. Both items we delicious. The service was very speedy and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely.
