Staying away from Manhattan for her high price hotel, this is one option. A Lakeland bus stop is just at the doorway so it is considered convenient if you don't mind the 45 minutes ride to PABT, Manhattan where a link to subway is handy. Cost of single ticket is US$10.45. Receptionist was friendly and more than willing to share...

What a disappointing experience

Have stayed at this location on many occasions and been very pleased.
They previously had a wonderful restaurant as well.
Hotel seems to be lacking as far as room upgrades compared to others.
Culminating the reservation, a cold shower, due to lack of hot water isn't an ideal way to start the morning.
Last straw for this hotel.

Conveniently located near highways and food/shopping centers, the Holiday Inn and Suites does the job.
Check in is easy.
Hotel is well maintained and comfortable.
A good mix of suites and rooms so you get what you need.
Furniture in good condition, Rooms clean and well kept.
Full service restaurant in the lobby for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

Hotel staff was great. Room was clean, great water pressure, comfortable bed. Complementary breakfast was more that adequate. Would have no reservations about recommending this place to family or friends.

What I liked best was that you get a full breakfast buffet, in a formal dining room, included with your room... a very, pleasant surprise. Also, got a free upgrade to a suite. Will definitely return again soon.
