2 night stay while passing through Black Hills area. The hotel is located in the heart of 'downtown' Deadwood, a kitschy tourist trap rife with 'saloons' and mini casinos. It leans heavily on the legend of 'Wild' Bill Hickock, even though he was a resident only for a few months, and all the establishments that tout his presence were rebuilt decades after his death when the whole town literally...

Parking is a hassle, the eleavator made loud noises and was jerking. The free breakfast was bad.

In the heart of Deadwood

This hotel allows dogs but be warned there is no green space nearby. Also the pet fee was higher at the hotel than was listed on expedia. The hotel itself was fine. Older hotel that smelled as if they were covering up years of smoke before it became a non smoking facility. Great location if you want to be in the middle of the action in Deadwood.

The hotel was in a fantastic spot, however the beds in the room were very low off of the floor and there wasn't a small refrigerator. Nicole says the room smells like smoke.
