Fit the bill, except for the noisy A/C

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was impressed by the size of the room. I had a king bed with a separate sitting area. What did not impress me as much was the ancient and extremely noisy A/C unit. I set it to automatic so it wouldn't run all the time, but it would wake me up...

Good stay

Pool was nice, rooms were big, breakfast was decent, lobby was nice and big, and the beds were comfortable.
Just another holiday inn, if you can get it at a decent price I say do it, but for $138 I wouldn't.
Don't have any major complaints, but not overly impressed.

I will be quite honest and say if you want a good deal, a clean , room, and good location between Corpus and Port Aransas this is great. The breakfasts were hot and well supplied.
But my issue was with the desk service. On two different instances I had to call to ask for extra towels and then another time...

The Holoday Inn Express was much nicer than I could have hoped for. After making our reservation, they easily accomodated an updated to a suite at the lsat minute. In addition to that, additional family members joined us, and they managed to get us on the same floor, right next to each other. The rooms were easily double the size...

The room was larger than expected and very clean. We sure enjoyed our free breakfast. The staff made sure all tables were clean and would never let anything run out. The hotel itself is pretty small, but easy to find and seems brand new. Great value, would recommend!
