“Excellent” Indian staples emerge from the tandoor oven of this “high-quality” Chamblee fixture where an “attentive” staff is “happy to tailor your meal to your spice threshold”; regulars ignore the “dilapidated” strip-mall setting, focusing instead on the “price-is-right” tabs and that “all-you-can-eat weekend buffet.”
First the delivery person took an extra 20 min passed the estimated delivery time to deliver. No call letting me know they're late. When I received my food, it was sub par at best. I'd ordered one VERY HOT Chicken Tikka Masala, and one MILD. There's also a Hot option inbetween those two....they tasted exactly the same. Called the restaurant, the guy tried to make it better by just saying sorry...
Took some work buddies for the lunch buffet as we were in the area. The food quality was poor because in an attempt to save money they had 2 tablespoons of each food item in the buffet. Needless to say, work friends weren't impressed. The meal was capped off, however, by the roach walking across the wall. Won't be back.
Been coming here many years. Run down strip center hides a very good restaurant. Love the Chana Puri appetizer. Chicken Vindaloo is very good. Nice soup with meals. Have not had anything bad. Eat more naan!

This restaurant was one of the 1st Indian restaurants in town. Been in the same place for 15-20 years if not longer. The buffet lunch is to die for!!! $12.95 and 20 different meat and veggi dishes. Not very oily and greasy like some Indian restaurants.
