I've always liked the Hilton Garden Inn brand and the Denton location was very nice. The biggest plus was that the front desk person and the bartender - they couldn't been more helpful and service oriented! It was a quick two day trip and I look forward to getting back there again.
A typical Hilton Garden Inn, very clean and the staff are unusually friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an extra charge but a large selection of items. The workout room is large but only one treadmill was working.
As has happened before, my checkout receipt did not match my reservation (overcharged, again). When I asked the desk clerks to change it, after waiting for many minutes they decided they didn't know how to do it. Finally, one of them promised she would get it straightened out and email the receipt, which I still haven't received 3 days later.
Being a Hilton not the best Ive been in but extremely adequate for the nightly rate. Bed was ultra comfortable and sleeping was main reason for room. Bathroom had great shower and plenty of hot water for showering.
