I was a resident at Heron point from June ofof 2011 until October of 2011. when I arrived here. I was depending on oxygen with a trach, and I was unable to stand on my own or walk. I think God that He placed me in a loving, skilled facility with a class A staff. When I left Heron Pointe in October, I walked out and I no longer had a trach. I did not have a good feeling when I pulled into the parking lot then when I walk to the doors it was confirmed the place stunk when I found my love one sitting in a wheelchair.as i gave him a kiss i could tell that his hygene care was lacking big time!! the response time for a nurse was slow. If your thinking of this place, think twice.
No fresh fruit or salads served here. The alternative to the main meal being served is peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They need to offer patients a better selection of food.
