Dr. Lera and staff were fantastic. Dr. Lera took the time to sit down with me and explain what was wrong with my cat and my options for treatment. Her illness is very serious and options are complicated, but he made sure I understood everything. He was gentle with my 12 year old sick-cat as was the staff. I was a new patient as we just moved in to the area. The made me feel right at home.

So impressed with Heron Lakes Animal Hospital and Dr. Lera! We just moved here and they made us feel so welcome and were so good with Kona our Lab. So happy we have found our new vet!
