Talk about a place that you can blow money, everwhere you look books, clothing, glass or pottery ware, toys, food, etc.... Crafts and history themed that supports the mission of making history...

No summer is complete without stopping here. From Civil War re-enactments, ld time bikes, motor muster, Fall Farmer's market and Fall Flavor weekends, there is so much to see. Try making a candle holder or watch glass blowing, watch harvesting or amazing food at Eagle Tavern. Pricy but fun.

We went to Greenfield Village quite a bit when younger and have many great memories. Coming back as an adult was just as enjoyable especially sine we love history. Prepare to be soaked in facts and fun and craftsman.

I've been going to Greenfield village at least once or twice a year since we moved to the Detroit area in 1979. The village contains homes, studios, workshops and shops from the 1600s through the early 20th century. Oh yes and a working farm as well. My favorite parts are the workshops and the farm.
