Included on the visit when entering using the New York City Pass this was a great show visually. It lasted about 20mins. I did think it assumed a certain level of knowledge and maybe a bit beyond the comprehension of some and younger guests. Perhaps a difficult subject to explain in simple terms?

Business description (2)

Connected to the Rose Center of Earth and Space, which is itself part of the American Museum of Natural History, Hayden Planetarium has been wowing visitors with its astronomy exhibits and sky shows since 1935. It offers a spectacular space show, including a representation of the Big Bang. They bring together all the expertise in science.

The planetarium offers a space show on a one-of-a-kind Zeiss Star Projector narrated by Tom Hanks. The Heilbrun Cosmic Pathway, a descending ramp that encircles the sphere, illustrates the changing state of the cosmos through history at approximately 75 million years per footstep, right down to the present day. Also featured is the Cullman Hall of the Universe, located beneath the sphere. Here, you can view an authentic fragment of a meteorite, learn about the cosmos via interactive monitors and watch breaking science and space news on "The Astrobulletin."
