This place is only open from January to May, (5 days a week; Weds thru Sun). They serve huge platters of boiled crawfish. It's an orgy of fish bodies, claws, and shells as people dig into this very regional dish that they look forward to with great relish. This was such a Louisiana experience.

Best Boiled Crawfish in Acadiana

This place is in the middle of nowhere. It's a nice drive into rural South Louisiana country side... a nice way to decompress. Boiled crawfish are excellently prepared, easy to peel, and super clean. Hawk's is the place that pioneered the purging process to assure that the crawfish are very clean prior to boiling.

I'm from the area and have been hearing about Hawk's for years. My parents raved about the place. But I just never got there.... So when I had out of state guests who wanted crawfish (one for the first time), I decided to take them to Hawk's. I couldn't have been more pleased!!!! The crawfish were big and well prepared....

Been wanting to try Hawks since reading about them on the internet last crawfish season. Finally made it this past weekend and LOVED the crawfish. Probably the best I've ever eaten.
